Left Field Brewery is a small, Toronto-based family company with a passion for making great tasting beer. We also happen to love baseball. We value highly skilled, friendly, hardworking beer lovers who enjoy working in an open, collaborative and creative environment.

Job Description
As a growing brewery, our Production Assistant will be an integral member of the team who will help to shape the Left Field brand, products and company culture as we grow together.  We are seeking a self-motivated and hardworking individual who works well both independently and with others.  This position will require a flexible work schedule and will be approximately 35-40 hours per week. This is an entry level position in our brewery and is a great way to get a start in the beer industry.

Responsibilities
Packaging work on our canning and bottling lines
Keg cleaning and filling
General brewery cleaning and organizing
Schedule and conduct materials transfers to and from off-site warehouse
Assist our Brewing Team as needed
Troubleshoot and maintain equipment

Qualifications
Clean G Driver’s Licence, Class D licence required
Experience driving a 16’ straight truck is an asset
Ability to routinely move heavy objects weighing up to 150 lbs
Forklift certification is required (will train)
Must be able to remain standing for long periods of time
Ability to work independently and with others
Organized and punctual
Eager to learn and grow with the company
Thrives in an environment that prioritizes beer quality, collaboration, open communication, hard work, the customer experience and our collective quality of life

The ideal candidate will be a 5-tool player. In baseball, this is an athlete who excels at hitting for average, hitting for power, base running, throwing, and fielding. We’re looking for a similar all-star with a diversified set of skills that will complement the above listed qualifications in contributing to a small, lean organization.
