Position:       Tap Room / Bottle Shop / Events Team Member

Job Description
Our Tap Room, Bottle Shop and Events teammates are integral in shaping the Left Field brand and company culture as we grow together. This individual will provide customer service in the Tap Room and Bottle Shop and at events. They will identify opportunities to go above and beyond in order to create exceptional customer experiences. This position will require a flexible work schedule for approximately 15-20 hours per week with variances based on seasonality and needs of the business. Weekend availability (Friday – Sunday) is mandatory.

Greeting and providing exceptional service to all brewery visitors
Serving draught beer in the Tap Room
Processing customer purchases in the Bottle Shop
Re-stocking beer fridge and retail items in a neat, presentable fashion
Responding to general inquiries
Daily cleaning of the Tap Room, Bottle Shop and other areas as assigned
Daily opening and closing of the Tap Room and Bottle Shop
Cash handling
Leading guided tours and tastings for large groups
Managing Tap Room capacity
Serving beer at festivals and events
General brewery duties and special projects, as assigned

Exceptional customer service skills. Prior serving experience is mandatory.
A passion for great beer and a strong knowledge of beer, the brewing process and beer styles
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Outgoing with strong public speaking skills
Excellent communicator, personable, warm and friendly
Positive attitude
A team player
Smart Serve & Retail Alcohol Sales certification
At least 18 years of age or older
Ability to work flexible and occasionally long hours
Must be available to work primarily evening and weekend shifts
Formal Beer Training, i.e. Cicerone, Prud’homme, etc. is an asset
Class G Driver’s License is an asset
TouchBistro experience is an asset

The ideal candidate will be a 5-tool player. In baseball, this is an athlete who excels at hitting for average, hitting for power, base running, throwing, and fielding. We’re looking for a similar all-star with a diversified set of skills that will complement the above listed qualifications in contributing to a small, lean organization.
