Supporting Stella’s Place & Young Adult Mental Health
Beer For Everybody is proud to support Stella’s Place as our current beneficiary, until March 31st!
Stella’s Place provides free mental health services for young adults ages 16 to 29. They offer a holistic menu of programs, including peer support, clinical services, employment support, wellness, art, and recovery programs. They help young adults learn skills, build community and be empowered to manage their own mental health.
From now until March 31st, 2023, 100% of profits from all Beer For Everybody apparel will be donated to Stella’s Place, along with 50 cent donations from all 12oz Tap Room draught pours.
Beer For Everybody’s intention is to showcase and support local organizations that work to dismantle systemic inequities. This initiative is not a single campaign, but rather a statement of our beliefs and a name under which we will continue to take action to uphold our commitments to equity and inclusion. It is our belief that beer can be a powerful tool to build community, to bring people together and to drive positive change.
Of course, beer is not for everybody and can sometimes be the source of harm with those experiencing mental health issues. Part of the reason we chose to work with Stella’s Place for this session is that they work with young adults, many of legal drinking age, at a time where they may be discovering alcohol and struggling with their mental health at the same time. Our goal has always been to create joy through our products and we always insist on responsible consumption. Our hope in working with Stella’s Place is that the young adults they work with are supported in their mental health and can, in turn, form safe and responsible drinking habits that will reduce harm in the long run.
At Left Field, we believe in a just and equitable society for all. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, ableism, ageism and other inequitable systems or forms of oppression – not only between our own four walls but also within our communities. We remain committed to actively upholding these values over the long term.
