Position:              Tap Room, Bottle Shop and Events Team Member
Location:             Leslieville Tap Room – 36 Wagstaff Drive, Toronto
Type:                   Part Time, Hourly (10 – 30 hours/week)
Compensation:   $20/hour + brewery-wide shared tip pool

Our Tap Room & Bottle Shop teammates are integral to nurturing and maintaining the Left Field Brewery brand and guest experience. This individual will provide day-to-day customer service in the Tap Room and Bottle Shop and at events, and will look for and identify opportunities to go above and beyond in order to create exceptional guest experiences. 

Responsibilities
– Greeting and providing exceptional service to all brewery visitors
– Processing customer purchases in the Bottle Shop
– Serving draught beer in the Tap Room
– Daily opening and closing of the Tap Room and Bottle Shop
– Re-stocking beer fridge and retail items in a neat, presentable fashion
– Fulfillment of 3rd party delivery app orders
– Responding to general brewery questions and inquiries from visitors
– Daily cleaning of the Tap Room, Bottle Shop and other areas, as assigned
– External festival and event activations 
– Achieving team sales goals, right-sizing customer needs
– Grow customer loyalty through relationship building and rewards program & e-mail newsletter subscriptions
– Maintaining Tap Room capacity including working the door, and all safety protocols
– Cash handling and inventory oversight
– Draught troubleshooting
– General brewery duties, as assigned 

Skills & Qualifications
– Exceptional customer service skills. Prior service experience is required
– A passion for great beer and knowledge of beer and beer styles
– Experience working in a fast-paced environment
– A team player with a positive attitude
– Excellent communicator, personable, friendly and enthusiastic
– Smart Serve & Retail Alcohol Sales certification
– At least 18 years of age or older
– Must be able to move cases of beer weighing 10Kg from ground level or pallets to table height
– Must be able to move kegs weighing up to 90 lbs between skids, floor, and hand carts
– Must be able to constantly move around the Tap Room, storage area, fridge, production area to re-stock, serve, bus tables, complete transactions, clean and organize
– G class license and clean driving record is a strong asset
– Experience with Toast POS is an asset
– Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
