What a year! Reflecting on 2022 and a sneak peek into 2023
As we look back at what 2022 held, let us start by saying THANK YOU. This past year has been a whirlwind and we couldn’t have done any of this without your ongoing support. We’re closing 2022 filled with gratitude for our amazing fans and incredible team here at Left Field.
In a year that often felt like we were perpetually trying to get our feet beneath us as the world reopened, we can’t help but think back and smile at some of the big wins that made our annual highlight reel.

We re-opened the Tap Room and welcomed you all back into our space. It felt SO GOOD to have you back for Euchre Night & Trivia, and to introduce new events, like our first ever Oktoberfest, and PITCHERS!

The return to events and festivals – including meeting so many of you at Farmers’ Markets this summer!

Moving our Foeder beers into convenient cans instead of bottles thanks to our friends at Canning Collective, helping us to keep our own canning line dedicated to clean (non-wild) beers while reducing broken glass on the production floor 😉

Launching kegs in our Online Fan Shop to make it easier to shop for your big event

With your unbelievable support, raising over $32,000 for Beer For Everybody partners including Bill 7 Award, Canadian Girls Baseball, Community Fridges Toronto, Native Women’s Resource Centre, Nourish East End, Red Door Family Shelter

Rubbing shoulders with baseball legends while hosting the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame 2022 inductee event at the brewery and being the official partner for Induction Ceremony Weekend in St. Mary’s. Not to mention the pinch-me moment creating Magic Number IPA in collaboration with beloved broadcaster Dan Shulman and home team Manager John Schneider

Continuing to hone our craft with a return of classic styles including brand new releases of Rounders English Bitter, Five Tool Wheat, Mr. Oktober Festbier and Schläger Märzen. We launched a total of 18 new beers this year!

These wins didn’t come without their share of challenges, and are only as a result of your amazing support and the hard work and passion of our incredible team. As we look forward to 2023, we’re excited to spread our wings beyond beer to bring you a fun & inclusive new launch!
Planning is also well underway for our 10th anniversary in February and we are looking ahead at big ways to celebrate that milestone. The brew team has been working on some process and ingredient experimentation and trials that we plan to bring to market in a new experimental IPA series in February. On top of all that, you can bet that we have First Pitch and the return of baseball season on the brain already, with lots of planning for fun events and a new beer launch that we’re super excited to share with you. And last but not least, we’re constantly working on avenues to bring more of our beer to more of you across Ontario, through new partnerships and releases.
