Left Field Brewery Land Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the sacred land on which we operate, and those on which many of our ingredients are grown, is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg (Ah-nish-in-nah-beg), the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee (Ho-den-oh-sho-nee) and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We acknowledge that alcohol has historically been used as a colonial tool to control, manipulate and marginalize Indigenous communities, repercussions of which continue to harm Indigenous people to this day. We recognize the many Nations of Indigenous People, who presently live on […]

On Canada Day
In acknowledgment of the atrocities and injustices that our country has, and continues to inflict on the Indigenous People of this land, we will be observing Canada Day differently – July 1st will be a day to reflect, educate, and act so that we may be the most effective allies possible. We mourn and honour the innocent children found, and to be found, in the mass graves of Residential Schools across this land, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Twospirit, Trans People, and Girls across the nation and all the survivors who remain. We recognize and support the UN Declaration on […]

BEER FOR EVERYBODY & BILL 7 AWARD
BEER FOR EVERYBODY SUMMER 2021 As we push for a strong finish to our #Beer4Everybody initiative supporting Black Women In Motion (currently at $4,860 – let’s get to $6,000 by May 31st!), we begin to look ahead to our next partnership for Pride month and beyond. A little early, but we’re just so excited to launch Squeeze Play Rainbow Sherbet Sour, we couldn’t keep this one to ourselves! Bursting at the seams with the addition of FIVE fruit purees: orange, raspberry, lime, lemon AND pineapple, this new Squeeze Play has a hint of sweetness and just a touch of lactose. […]

Find us at the Farmers’ Market!
Finally – beer to go at the farmers’ market! Starting Sunday, May 16, and throughout the summer we’ll be at The Leslieville Farmers’ Market (now in Greenwood Park!) selling beer to go alongside all the incredible Ontario produce. Starting in June you’ll also find us at the Withrow Park Farmers’ Market and the East Lynn Park Farmers’ Market so you can get fresh, local beer to go with your fresh, local produce! We’re so excited to see this legislative change we’ve been cheering on for some time that allows breweries to sell beer to-go alongside wineries, cideries and distilleries at […]
