SUMMARY
As a Service Team Member of Left Field Brewery, your role is greater than just delivering great tasting beer and food to our guests. You set the tone and expectation for their visit and help guide them along the way, leaving them with a memorable experience. You bring a high level of warmth, professionalism and inclusion to your role in order to build the trust of our guests. You provide clarity around our casual, yet attentive, brewery tap room and kitchen experience. You are responsible for introducing the guest to the Left Field Brewery seating and somewhat unconventional ordering options, our mouth-watering ballpark-inspired menu, and of course, our brewed on-site craft beer selection. You will be joining an All-Star team that shares our passion for great beer and community.

Service Team Members are Brand Champions who ensure that our guests enjoy their experience to the fullest. Some the service responsibilities of this role include:
– Guest Experience Assistance
– Assisting Guests with Self Ordering Technology
– Ongoing and Proactive Guest Engagement
– Food, Beverage and Brewing Knowledge
– Food and Beverage Running
– Pouring and Preparing Beverages

– Ongoing Cleanliness of the Guest Environment

Service Team Members play a key role in creating the vibe and providing an environment where guests can relax and have fun while trying a new beer or grabbing a tasty bite to eat. – Delivery of food and beverage to tables in the dining room and bar
– Preparation and service of beverages
– Preparation and cleanliness of the dining room and bar areas and equipment before, after and during each service
– Correct use of POS system; adhering to all company standards and policies
– Ensure food is presented with exceptional level of detail prior to delivering to guests
– Operational standards adherence
– Grow customer loyalty through relationship building and rewards program & e-mail newsletter subscriptions

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in a full-service restaurant environment is an asset
– Formal beer training is an asset (Cicerone, Prud’homme, BJCP, WSET, etc.) is an asset
– Fluency in English both written and verbal
– Must be 18 years of age or older
– Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, days, evenings, weekends and holidays
– Must be able to carry and lift items weighing 25lbs, must be able to stoop and bend
– Must be able to stand and move for extended periods of time to continuously perform essential job functions
– Current and valid Smart Serve certification
